FESTIVITIES, CELEBRATIONS AND CULTURAL EVENTS
The Feast of the Madonna del Rosario is held on 10 and 11 October and, since the mid-nineteenth century, the religious celebrations on the occasion of this feast have been combined with the Livestock Fair, a local institution created to facilitate farmers’ trade.
The “Festa della Fava” is held on the first Saturday of August and showcases all the traditional phases of preparation and consumption of Fava. For the occasion, in fact, huts are built where broad beans, typical products and local wine are distributed.
