Angelo Genova (CrazyOne) comes from the Sicilian city of Caltanissetta. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo, he immediately managed to stand out by breaking the mold and prerogatives of street art. In fact, he contrasted speed and improvisation with a meticulous technique developed through the use of “stencils”. : the figure is broken down with hatchings, dots or signs, to then be reconstructed in the overall vision. The meticulousness of the working process allows his works to be summarized in the particular and personal technique. CrazyOne’s painting is explicitly inspired by real images, the artist investigates the reality that surrounds him, the places and people of his experience which from the “reality of the street” are transferred, with photorealistic effects, into the street art stencil technique.
