In Gusto Di Casa, step into the lives of Giulia and Filomena, two elderly sisters bound by tradition and love. This 360-degree VR short film offers an intimate look at their daily ritual of pasta-making in their ancestral home. Once confined by their father’s strict rules, they now embrace the freedom within their familiar surroundings. This short film combines photomontage and documentary footage to bring their story to life. Weaving documentary elements with immersive storytelling, the story highlighting the sisters’ meticulous craft and the vibrant memories embedded in their home. In the work, you can feel the warmth of their home, hear the echoes of the past, and see the beauty in their enduring connection. It’s a heartfelt homage to family, culture, and the simple joys of life.
